In 2003 a series of unlikely events brought Jace to Benin, West Africa to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer. Jace's heart broke for the people in Benin and God used that experience to radically change his life forever. Sarah had always known she was to work with the poor and had done so both abroad, Thailand and Jamaica, and state side through inner city work and various community work. In June of 2008, Jace and Sarah Rabe were married and out of that marriage sprang forth a ministry called Projects for Progress. The organization began July 2008, with the first projects beginning in Benin. It is their desire to start in Benin and move throughout Africa and the world serving those that are lost, broken, and forgotten.
Projects for Progress (PFP) started in July 2008. We are a community-development non-profit working in Benin, West Africa with the goal of becoming world wide. We focus on education, clean water, medical facilities, and sex trafficking/child labor. We desire to meet the very basic physical needs of the communities with the end result of meeting their spiritual needs.
